Job description


Our client is committed to become a global leader in the discovery, development, and commercialization of innovative, molecularly-targeted, and immuno-oncology drugs for the treatment of cancer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the vivo pharmacology lead for several drug discovery projects; design and conduct in vivo studies to evaluate and establish efficacy, PK/PD relationship, combination strategy;
  • Be responsible for IND-enabling in vivo studies and contribution to relevant in vivo sections of study reports and regulatory documents;
  • Work within multi-functional teams to support target identification, validation, drug discovery, combination therapy and biomarker identification;
  • Develop and characterize new in vivo mouse models to study biologic mechanisms and support exploration of novel therapeutics;
  • Present and communicate internally and to collaborators.


Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Cancer Biology, Immunology, Pharmacology, or related life sciences field with 4+ years industry experience with technical and scientific experience in drug discovery and pre-clinical development;
  • Experienced in delivering comprehensive in vivo pharmacology data packages for drug candidates in early clinical development, including PK/PD and efficacy studies, combination strategy and analysis;
  • Expertise in animal models of human cancers/inflammation disease; expertise with GEMM and humanized models is a plus;
  • Track record of success as evidenced by publication record and/or evidence of sustained contributions in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical setting;
  • Written and verbal presentation of results within a multidisciplinary team environment.
