Regional Sales Manager, Eastern & Southern China

Location: Shanghai

Report to: National Sales Manager

Company overview:

Our client is an industry leader in the design and manufacture of ionizing radiation detectors, nuclear instrumentation, analysis software, and integrated systems.

Position Description:

  • Sales of products and services in China Northern or Eastern China territory to achieve and exceed the monthly, quarterly and annual goals for orders and sales revenue
  • Identify upcoming sales opportunities and influence customer specifications to favor the company
  • Conduct presentations and training to direct & indirect sales channels on products and solutions to create preference for the company and enable them to sell
  • Create sales target lists and identify appropriate decision makers within target companies
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with distributors, customers and EM partners
  • Drive and manage the complete sales process and life cycle from initial contact with prospect(s) to contract closing
  • Develop and present insightful and effective sales proposals and contracts
  • Attend industrial related conferences to build brand awareness, generate leads, assess competition and other insight in support of the company ’s though
  • Provide monthly order forecasts to the Regional Sales Manager
  • Provide weekly reports on sales activities
  • Maintain customer records and files in CRM
  • Extensive travel within Eastern & Southern China

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Material Science/Physics/Chemistry from reputable universities.
  • Must be knowledgeable of analytical techniques and product offerings in nuclear instrumentation
  • Sufficient technical knowledge/skills to be able to effectively communicate and sell the advantages/benefits of the company versus our competitors
  • 5 years’ experience in sales of analytical equipment
  • Strong communication skills in Mandarin and English language
  • Must be customer focused, self-motivated and have management ability
