Account Manager, personal care ingredients

Division: PCI

Report to: Commercial Leader

Location: Shanghai

Key Duties and Responsibilities

This position is established to support the continuing expansion of company’s Chemical - Performance Colorants and Ingredients business in Asia.

Major Functions

Responsible for CPG - home care, fabric care and personal care market in South of China (Guangdong, Fujian, Sichuan, Guangxi, Yunan);

  • Implement the aligned business plan;
  • Responsible for assigned financial target as well as non-financial targets
  • Key account management
  • Understand customers organization and penetrate into different levels;
  • Develop the relationship with key buy influencers;
  • Explore, develop and close the new sale opportunities in targeted accounts;
  • Distributor management;
  • Monitor competitor activities and develop the defense plan in the territory;
  • Coordinate with marketing and technical team on workshop, seminar in S. of China.

Requirements for this Position

  • Solid sales record in previous sales position;
  • Understand value-added selling concept and process;
  • 3+ years’ experience of key account management;
  • Chemical or material science background is preferred but not necessary;
  • Willing to travel
