Senior Project Manager

Report to

  • Global VP Project Management

Main Purpose of the Position:

  • The Senior Project Manager will assume full project responsibility including but not limited to Scope, Budget, Contract Management, Schedule, Risk Management, Quality, Customer Satisfaction/Experience, Safety and Integration. They will be accountable to the Region Execution Leader during the term of their assignment. Delivering the highest quality solution to customers and the expected gross margin to stakeholders is the measure of success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working at the direction of the Regional Execution Leaders on specific, named projects;
    • Conduct project planning activities
    • Develop comprehensive schedules and resource plans
    • Create and execute risk management/mitigation strategies
    • Manage commercial activities including contract variation
    • Coach Regional Project Managers
    • Provide lessons learned from other regions
    • Develop and execute exit strategies on site, ensuring the highest customer satisfaction and profit margin
  • Actively participate in monthly project review meetings
  • Deliver summary reports to executive leadership


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Strongly Preferred: PM certification (PMP or equivalent)
  • 10+ years of progressive project management and project execution experience in a technical industry. Position requires a high degree of execution knowledge.
  • Proven experience delivering large scale, enterprise projects in EMEA and/or APAC to external customers
  • Strong and demonstrable risk management/mitigation capabilities
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a strong emphasis on using influence to achieve results
  • Demonstrated ability to build credibility and confidence with a wide variety of leaders including internal stakeholders, customers and vendors and be seen as a trusted advisor.
  • Demonstrated team building skills with the ability to improve interaction and efficiency as well as the ability to break down barriers / silos.
  • Effective skills in communicating project-related status and issues to senior leadership
